| Mr Donald Connolly, Head of Training, Translink |
Translink are happy to have partnered with BLUE Training Solutions Ltd to support with our training needs for conflict management.
It was clear from the outset that they were prepared to put in the time and effort to research our organisation, giving them a thorough understanding of our market and what we needed to achieve from this training.
BLUE personnel took time to visit Translink management and staff to discuss the main areas of concern of our work-force arising from the conflict situations which they face daily. This preparation ensured BLUE was able to put together a comprehensive package to suit our needs.
The training delivered gave all the trainees an opportunity to participate actively and work towards practical and usable solutions. I believe that both management and staff at Translink have benefited from and enjoyed the experience of learning from BLUE’s highly qualified trainers. They are an approachable and professional team who have a genuine understanding of how conflict situations can be identified and resolved. |

| Mrs Elizabeth McNerlin MEd, Director, NWLLA |
NWLLA were very happy to have used BLUE Training Solutions Ltd to help with some of the ‘special’ problems which came up on some of their projects during the latter half of 2006.
We are a small independent charity based in Limavady but we train and mentor clients from many different projects and government schemes. BLUE were very happy to help us out in the following areas:
Providing Customer Service training to a small class which needed specific training in retail NVQ. These young people had no idea of how to sell in a shop, how to use body language, how to approach customers or how to present themselves in a retail environment. BLUE tutors were a welcome outside agency which soon put them on their toes! We mentor SMEs which evolve from some of our government programmes and BLUE consultants were only too happy to complete a business analysis for one of our clients. I can never stress enough to those wanting to go self-employed that it is imperative they try to get an outsider to look at how their business runs on a daily basis. Using their Conflict Management training, we asked them to tailor their training to suit our ladies with all their various other commitments on an EU sponsored project. Using a mixture of training methods and on-line tutorials, we found this worked very well for us.
What I have found with this company is that no job is too small or too large. They are professional and resourceful trainers who fit into any environment or training situation. |

| Mr Steven Chambers, Head of Training, Northern Ireland Security Guard Service |
BLUE Training Solutions Limited are a professional team of instructors who deliver high-quality, licensed, training in the area of security operations and conflict management. Their customer-focused approach to the delivery of these increasingly important skills is based on their own practical experience of the industry, its interface with the community and a full understanding of current licensing standards.
The design of the training and the blended approach to learning adopted by BLUE ensured that our trainee instructors experienced learning that was stimulating, related to practical experience and underpinned with sound knowledge.
The quality of instructional media, and personal consultancy support provided by BLUE’s experienced instructors, was consistently high and tailored to meet the needs of the Team, delivering a custom programme to accredited standards. The instructional media was tailored to the especial circumstances of the business environment of Northern Ireland and, increasingly, those encountered in Great Britain.
BLUE’s training, whilst strongly underpinned by knowledge, also focuses on imparting practical training to trainees. It applied the underpinning knowledge in a practical manner using realistic scenarios related to their workplace. The training demonstrated a full understanding of the instructors’ role and those of the trainees that they would be training both as new employees and those in-service. It was especially valuable that BLUE could provide both male and female instructors, reflecting the diversity of our workforce and the customers that our organisation has to deal with on a daily basis. |
