Terms and conditions
You can pay for your subscription(s) online using the secure server at Worldpay. Your subscriptions will become active as soon as your payment is accepted. Alternatively you may request an invoice at the end of the purchasing process. You will then be invoiced and your subscriptions will become active when Conflict Professional receives your payment.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they are the terms governing our sale of goods and services from this site.

Contract Terms 1. We are Conflict Professional Limited a company registered in England under number 5496107 Our address is The Conflict Management Centre, Russet Farm, Redlands Lane, Robertsbridge, East Sussex, TN32 5NG, United Kingdom. Our VAT registration number is 862 7805 96. 2. This contract is for the supply and delivery of the items specified above. We have tried to make these terms as easy as possible to understand. 3. We will try to deliver all products ordered as soon as possible usually within 28 days, but delivery time cannot be guaranteed. All products are subject to availability. 4. All prices shown are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Payment must be enclosed with your order. Payment can be by personal cheque drawn on an UK bank and must be crossed "A/C payee only" if not already so crossed. Payment may also be made online by debit, credit or charge card. We use a secure gateway to collect your credit card details. The information that you send to us about payment is encrypted and passed to our bank on a separate link. 5. At the end of the shopping process on this website you will be shown the final amount and asked to confirm your order before it is sent to us. We will confirm receipt of your order and availability of stock by email. Your order will be accepted by us only when we send you specific acceptance of your order. We then prepare your order for despatch. If you need to make any changes, please contact us ASAP. Delivery is to UK credit/debit card billing addresses only. 6. You have a right to cancel your order at any time up to seven working days from the day after your receipt of the goods. Please note that this right does not apply to items made to your specification or which are clearly personalised. In the event of cancellation by you, the goods must be returned to us at your expense in good condition with their original packaging and paperwork related to the original sale. You may cancel your order by sending or delivering us a letter, by post, fax or e-mail. We cannot accept oral cancellations unless these are confirmed by any of the methods just specified. 7. Subject to the immediately following clause, we guarantee that each product purchased by you from us will be free of any defects rendering it unfit for its purpose or not of satisfactory quality for 3 months from the date of purchase. In the event of a breach of this guarantee, we will repair or replace the product free of charge, whichever you choose. This does not affect your statutory rights. 8. Ownership of the goods remains with us until payment has been received in full. 9. As part of our continuing service to you, the customer, we have established a helpline. It can be contacted between 9.30am and 5.00pm on the following numbers 01580 881260/01580881283 10. No third party may rely on any term of the contract between us under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. 11. We (or our suppliers) own the copyright in this website. Purchasers may copy the text for their personal use only. 12. These terms and the contract between us shall be governed by English law and you and we submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. 13. These terms and conditions can be printed by you and will be attached to the email we send you confirming that we have received your order. Financial issues 14. Cancellations Course cancellations or postponements will be charged according to the following: 21 days or more notice prior to programme start date - No Charge Between 21 and 14 days notice prior to programme start date - 50% of course fee, plus expenses 13 days or less notice prior to programme start date - 100% of course fee, plus expenses 15. Expenses: Expenses will be charged on one of the following bases, as shown on the Training Confirmation Form: Full expenses, as incurred by us, or Fixed expenses, as agreed. Where expenses include payment of a Registration Fee e.g. for a qualification with an awarding body, once a candidate's registration details have been provided to us, the fee becomes non-transferable and non-refundable. Invoices are submitted in advance of all training, unless previously agreed with the client. Our terms are 28 days. All charges are subject to VAT. Health and safety 16. Guidance If you host an in house programme you will be responsible for providing a suitable and safe training venue. Further Health and Safety Guidance is available upon request. 17. Injury risk There is always a risk of injury during training, especially where physical skills are taught. We reduce this risk as far as possible through careful programme design and the use of skilled and experienced trainers. 18. Delegate fitness You should ensure that delegates are physically and mentally fit for ordinary duties and to undertake the training. In order to protect the medical, emotional and psychological welfare of staff, you must not send any individuals on to courses who may be experiencing from, or likely to experience from, any post-incident trauma. Delegates must also have a responsible attitude to the participating in the training. 19. Special needs You are to inform us of any delegates with special needs and to provide suitable information, equipment or services that may be required (such as interpreters, disabled access). Training issues 20. Venue The training venue provided must be appropriate in size and equipped for: Presentation of material with an overhead projector, screen, flip chart and paper/white board 12 delegates to move freely in scenario work and, where applicable, for physical skills practice with a partner. We reserve the right to cancel/postpone training if the venue is considered unsuitable for safe and effective training and to charge a full cancellation fee accordingly. 21. Trainer and support material We will be responsible for providing a suitable and fully briefed trainer, all other training equipment, support materials, delegate feedback forms and support notes. 22. Trainers We commit to providing the same quality of trainer during client programmes. Wherever practicable we will seek to notify you of proposed trainer/s and provide the same trainer/s but reserves the right to change trainers. 23. Behaviour obligations As part of a safe system of work all delegates are under an obligation in law to comply with the requirements of the trainer whilst undertaking physical skills training. Any delegate who deliberately or recklessly puts themselves or others at risk of injury will be excluded from training and may render themselves liable to criminal or civil litigation as a result. Should the behaviour, conduct or language of a delegate become so disruptive to the learning of the group, the trainer may feel it necessary for the benefit of others to exclude that delegate. Delegates must refrain from consuming alcohol during any refreshment or meal breaks. 24. Media Any media coverage/involvement in our training must be formally agreed by us. 25. Group size and trainer ratio To ensure the highest quality and safe learning environment the maximum number of participants and trainer ratio for each course is: Qualification programme with Assessment(up to and including physical intervention)- One trainer to 12 delegates Development Workshop (non-Physical)- One trainer to 40 delegates Master-classes- unlimited 26. Physical intervention trainers Client trainers who have taken on physical intervention skills must practice the skills on a regular basis with other qualified team members. Such training must be recorded. In addition any injury, near miss or other incident must be recorded.
